Pleasure Product Review: We-Vibe 4 Plus May 15 2015 5 Comments

When I first heard about the We-Vibe 4 Plus, I knew I had to try it out. I've had the We-Vibe 3 and 4, so it was only natural that I gave this one a whirl. For those of you not familiar with the We-Vibe line, it's a couples vibrator that the woman wears during sex, or alone. The outer part allows for clitoral stimulation while the inside delivers a nice rumble to the g-spot, which is intensified while having sex. It has a U shape which they have tightened up in the later models. With the 4 and 4 Plus they changed the material to a nicer silicone. The biggest difference with the 4 Plus is the addition of the application that you can download on your phone and/or tablet, which makes it perfect for long-distance lovers or couples who travel separately. The 4 Plus also has more power than the previous models. Like the others rest assured, it still comes with a remote, so you're not limited to only the app, although there is an app only model out.

Now the fun part: How the product works. The first time I used the We-Vibe 4 Plus, I used it alone. Upon insertion I noticed it took a little bit to get it into the right place. I like the that they made it closer together because it stays put which makes it ideal for hands-free solo play or wearing around the house or store while running errands.  Since it is so close together, it could be uncomfortable for some users since every body is different. The newer silicone is also a nice touch. The vibration is the signature We-Vibe rumble, so it has a different feel than most buzzing vibrators. Connecting to the app made for an even better experience. I'm one of those people who likes to multitask so while checking emails, I can just do a quick switch and change the pattern without even getting up. Errands become a lot more fun when you have a secret. The app is easy to download in the Android Market, or the Apple Store. Unfortunately, at this point, there is no support for Windows phones. First glance with the app you see that you can sign up with an email address and connect to your lover. The app gives step by step instructions on how to use it, so it's a breeze for customers that are not tech savvy. The app provides customers with 5 more modes as well as a create your own vibe pattern, which is a pretty cool feature to toy around with. Keep in mind, although it connects via Bluetooth, the other user controlling the toy also has to have a Wi-fi connection.

Using as a couple, I found it a little hard to get used to. The fit was a little tighter than I'm used to with both the We-Vibe and my partner, but we managed to get it working. The g-spot stimulation was very nice once I partner and I got into it, but I felt like the outside clitoral piece was pinching me during certain positions. I have heard that We-Vibe is in the middle of making a newer model of the We-Vibe soon, so I'm hoping they have added a couple of size changes. Overall, I would say I enjoyed the We-Vibe 4 Plus more for solo use than I did for couple's play.
